Ramallah – January 21, 2026 Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Farid, Deputy Director of the Customs Police in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, participated in welcoming Interior Minister Major General Ziad Hab Al-Reeh today, Wednesday, at the Governorate headquarters. Also present were the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, and directors and representatives of the security establishment.

During the meeting, the Interior Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening joint work and integration among the various official and security bodies, which contributes to serving citizens and bolstering their resilience under the current circumstances. He also commended the significant efforts exerted by officers and personnel of the security establishment in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, appreciating their role in maintaining security and stability and serving citizens despite the existing challenges and difficulties.
