Ramallah, January 27, 2026 - The Director of the Customs Police Directorate in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Lieutenant Colonel Saed Jibril, received the President of Al-Istiqlal University, Professor Nour El-Din Abu Al-Rub, and his accompanying delegation at his office on Tuesday. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two sides.

Professor Abu Al-Rub praised the vital role played by the Customs Police in protecting the national economy, combating smuggling and tax evasion, and safeguarding the local market. He emphasized the importance of this partnership in developing qualified national personnel to serve state institutions.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Jibril reviewed the Customs Police's key responsibilities and its ongoing efforts to regulate markets and address various economic issues. He commended the competence and professional excellence of Al-Istiqlal University graduates working within the agency.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Nour El-Din Abu Al-Rub presented Lieutenant Colonel Saed Jibril with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his service to the nation and its citizens.
