Ramallah – January 29, 2026 – Based on intelligence, and during a joint security operation, the Customs Police and Preventive Security Service, in cooperation with the Public Safety Committee (Governorate, Ministry of National Economy, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture), seized nearly 44.5 tons of nuts, legumes, and coconut unfit for human consumption today, Thursday, at a company in Hebron Governorate. The products had expired, and their consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Consequently, the relevant authorities in the Public Safety Committee ordered the destruction of the seized quantity using safe and hygienic methods and referred the case to the Public Prosecution – Economic Crimes Prosecution – to complete the necessary legal procedures.
