Ramallah - January 31, 2026: During routine inspections of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the relevant agricultural and health authorities in Jenin, seized approximately 3,800 kg of carrots deemed unfit for human consumption on Saturday in Jenin. The carrots showed signs of spoilage, and their consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized quantity using safe and hygienic methods, and the necessary legal procedures were initiated.
