Ramallah – February 3, 2026 – As part of joint security operations and ongoing efforts to protect public health and safety, the Customs Police and Preventive Security Service, in cooperation with the Safety Committee (comprising representatives from the Ministries of National Economy, Health, and Agriculture), seized over 2.25 tons of unfit dried fruit (raisins) in a warehouse in Nablus Governorate on Tuesday. The fruit showed signs of spoilage. Additionally, 71 kg of honey lacking Arabic labeling were confiscated, posing a risk to consumer health.
The relevant authorities ordered the impounding of the seized quantity and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
