Customs Police and Consumer Protection Meet with the Foodstuffs Traders Syndicate in Hebron

 

Ramallah, February 4, 2026 – A joint working meeting was held today, Wednesday, between the Customs Police, represented by the Deputy Director of the Customs Police in Hebron Governorate, Major Ismail Al-Mahdi, the Consumer Protection Directorate, represented by its Director General, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qadi, and the Foodstuffs Traders Syndicate, represented by its President, Mr. Wasim Al-Ja’bari, at the Syndicate's headquarters in Hebron Governorate.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to food security and strengthening cooperation to ensure the safety and quality of food products sold in the markets were discussed.

Following the meeting, a joint inspection tour of commercial markets was conducted, during which the availability and safety of food products were verified, and production and expiration dates were checked to ensure their compliance with applicable regulations for human consumption.
