Ramallah, February 5, 2026 – Customs officers, while operating at a checkpoint in Hebron Governorate on Thursday, seized a truck coming from Israel carrying nine tons of bananas without an agricultural transport permit.

After summoning the relevant department at the Ministry of Agriculture, it was decided to confiscate the quantity and refer the case to the Public Prosecution – Economic Crimes Prosecution, to complete the necessary legal procedures.
