Ramallah, February 5, 2026 – In the presence of Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the Civil Defense and the Public Safety Committee, participated today, Thursday, in a field visit to the United Energy Services Company in Jenin Governorate to review the mechanism for supplying and distributing cooking gas to citizens and establishments.

The visit came within the framework of monitoring the status of basic services, ensuring their continuity, and verifying that suppliers adhere to approved procedures to protect citizens' safety and prevent any manipulation or monopoly.

Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub emphasized that what is being circulated about a cooking gas crisis does not reflect reality, noting that the gas supply is continuous and regular, and that any pressure on distribution is due to unjustified panic buying by citizens.
