Ramallah - 9/2/2026 Based on joint security operations, the Customs Police and Preventive Security Service, with support from the Palestinian Police and National Security Forces, and in cooperation with the Hebron Governorate, Hebron Municipality, the Ministry of National Economy, the Ministry of Health, and the Hebron Veterinary Department, seized approximately 2 tons of frozen chicken unfit for human consumption today, Monday, inside a warehouse in Hebron. The chicken showed signs of spoilage, emitted a foul odor, and was improperly stored. Consuming it could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Accordingly, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized quantity using safe and hygienic methods and referred the case to the Economic Crimes Prosecution Office to complete the necessary legal procedures.
