Once again… 7.5 tons of spoiled frozen chicken seized in Qalqilya Governorate

 

Ramallah, February 9, 2026 – Based on information received, the Customs Police, in cooperation with relevant authorities in the Ministries of National Economy, Health, Agriculture, and the Veterinary Department, seized approximately 7.5 tons of frozen chicken unfit for human consumption today, Monday, in a warehouse in Qalqilya Governorate. The chicken showed clear signs of spoilage due to improper storage.

The relevant authorities confirmed that consuming this meat could pose a serious health risk to consumers. Therefore, the seized quantity was destroyed using safe and hygienic methods, and all necessary legal procedures were completed.
