Ramallah – February 19, 2026: During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Control Unit, in cooperation with the Jenin Municipality Health Department, seized 50 kilograms of expired food unfit for consumption in Jenin Governorate on Thursday.

The relevant authorities ordered the immediate destruction of the seized quantity and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.

In a separate incident, during inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Control Unit seized approximately 45 packages of prohibited sexual stimulants (honey) in Jenin Governorate on Thursday. These products are banned due to their harmful effects on public health. The seized quantity was impounded pending the arrival of the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
