Ramallah - February 28, 2026 - The Customs Police calls on citizens to adhere to responsible purchasing practices to maintain market stability, ensure the smooth flow of goods, and refrain from panic buying or stockpiling essential commodities.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Economy, the Customs Police confirms that food and supply stocks are available in local markets in sufficient quantities to meet citizens' needs for the next six months.
The Customs Police also emphasizes that, in cooperation with partner agencies, it will intensify its market monitoring tours in various governorates and will be vigilant against anyone attempting to manipulate prices, hoard goods, or exploit citizens under any circumstances. It affirms that the necessary legal measures will be taken against violators.
The Customs Police urges citizens to report any violations through official channels, via the toll-free number (132) or the official Facebook page, thereby strengthening community partnership and maintaining market stability.
