The Ministry of Interior announced that the Emergency Response Media Committee has commenced its work within the Ministry, as part of the government's efforts to manage information and enhance communication with citizens efficiently and transparently during this critical period.

This took place in the presence of Minister of Interior Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, Director General of Police Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, Director of the Government Communication Center Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Rub, media spokespeople, and a number of officers from the response units.

The Ministry explained that the activation of the committee comes in implementation of the Cabinet's directives and the instructions of the political leadership, headed by His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, with the aim of unifying media messages and strengthening coordination among various official institutions and security agencies, thus ensuring the timely delivery of accurate and reliable information to citizens.

The Ministry indicated that the committee includes representatives from the media departments of the Ministry of Interior, the Internal Security Forces, and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. It will be responsible for continuously monitoring operational and media developments, analyzing information, and presenting the official narrative based on facts, in addition to utilizing various modern media tools to ensure that information reaches all segments of Palestinian society. The Ministry emphasized the vital role of governors, emergency committees, and volunteer teams in the governorates, who continue their round-the-clock fieldwork to monitor citizens' needs and address various developments. This is achieved through coordination with official institutions and relevant authorities, ensuring the continuity of essential services and enhancing preparedness to respond to any emerging situations.

The Ministry also stressed the importance of citizens adhering to information issued by official bodies and relying on credible sources. This contributes to raising public awareness and maintaining stability and social cohesion during this period.
