Ramallah - March 15, 2026: During field monitoring and surveillance operations to combat smuggling, the Customs Police seized a truck loaded with 17 tons of construction waste from Israel. The waste, intended for dumping on Palestinian-owned land in the Bethlehem Governorate, is considered hazardous to the Palestinian environment.

The relevant authorities at the Environmental Quality Authority were summoned and ordered the return of the seized waste to its source, in accordance with international agreements, and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
