Ramallah, March 17, 2026 – As part of efforts to promote humanitarianism and social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, the Customs Police, along with the Directorate of National and Moral Guidance, the Preventive Security Service, and the Palestinian National Association of Charitable Societies, participated today, Tuesday, in organizing a group iftar and various recreational activities for the benefit of the Al-Ghad Association for Autism.
The event included distributing gifts and toys to the children, as well as providing haircuts, in an atmosphere of joy and happiness. The evening concluded with positive interaction between the children and attendees, reflecting the spirit of giving and humanity during this blessed month.
In another context, during inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the Jenin Municipality Health Department – Food Control Section, seized approximately 150 kg of food items unfit for human consumption due to their expiration date. Consuming these items could pose significant health risks to consumers. Therefore, the competent authority decided to destroy the quantity in a healthy and safe manner and to complete the legal procedures properly.
