Ramallah, March 20, 2026 - Based on information received, the Customs Police seized approximately 60 plastic bead toys and 3 kg of beads from a shop in Qalqilya Governorate on Friday. These toys are banned from sale in the Palestinian market due to the harm they pose to children's health and safety.
The seized items were impounded pending the arrival of representatives from the Ministry of National Economy to complete the necessary legal procedures.
The Customs Police urge citizens not to buy, sell, or promote these toys and to report anyone selling them by calling the toll-free number (132) or through the Customs Police's official Facebook page.
The Customs Police affirms its commitment to continuing to monitor, pursue, and hold violators accountable according to the law.
