Ramallah - March 30, 2026: During field inspection tours of markets, the Customs Police and Preventive Security, in cooperation with relevant authorities (Jenin Municipality Health Department, Ministry of National Economy, Jenin Health Directorate, and the Veterinary Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture), seized approximately 16.5 tons of frozen chicken unfit for human consumption at a slaughterhouse in Jenin on Monday. The chicken showed signs of spoilage, and its consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.

Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the entire quantity using safe and hygienic methods, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
