Ramallah, March 31, 2026 - Colonel Abdul Karim Basayta, Director of the Customs Police in Bethlehem Governorate, participated today, Tuesday, in welcoming the three archbishops from the Church of the Nativity at the Bethlehem Governorate headquarters. The meeting was also attended by the Governor of Bethlehem Governorate, Mr. Muhammad Taha Abu Aliya, and the directors of the security services in the governorate. The archbishops offered their congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

During the meeting, the general situation in Bethlehem Governorate was discussed, and the importance of concerted efforts and unity in confronting challenges was emphasized, in order to support the resilience of the citizens and maintain the stability of the governorate.
