Approximately 3.5 Tons of Expired Foodstuffs, Herbs, and Spices Seized in Hebron

 

Ramallah - April 20, 2026 In a joint security operation, the Customs Police and Preventive Security Service, in cooperation with the Hebron Governorate and relevant authorities (Health, National Economy, and Agriculture), seized approximately 3.5 tons of expired food products, herbs, and spices unfit for human consumption in a warehouse in Hebron on Monday. Consuming these products could pose significant health risks to consumers.

Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized goods using safe and sanitary methods and referred the case to the Economic Crimes Prosecution Office to complete the necessary legal procedures.
