Ramallah, April 21, 2026 - The Director of the Customs Police in Tubas Governorate, Colonel Radi Katana, met today, Tuesday, with the Governor of Tubas, Mr. Ahmed Al-Asaad, and the Commander of the Tubas District, Colonel Ibrahim Abu Kashk, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides praised the national role played by the Customs Police in combating counterfeit and illegal goods and confronting smuggling operations, emphasizing that these efforts contribute to protecting public health and strengthening the national economy.
For his part, Colonel Katana affirmed the Customs Police's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the security establishment and official institutions, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks and serving the public interest.
As part of strengthening security coordination, Colonel Katana received the Director of Preventive Security, Brigadier General Maher Abu Halawa, and his accompanying delegation at his office, where they discussed mechanisms for developing cooperation and joint coordination in combating economic crimes and strengthening the rule of law.
