Ramallah, April 29, 2026 - The Director of the Customs Police at the Border Crossings and Terminals Authority, Lieutenant Colonel Huthaifa Ishtayeh, in coordination with the Border Crossings and Terminals Authority, received a delegation of students from Al-Istiqlal University on Wednesday. The field visit aimed to familiarize the students with the nature of work at the terminals and the mechanisms for regulating passenger traffic.

Lieutenant Colonel Ishtayeh welcomed the visiting delegation, emphasizing the importance of such visits in enhancing students' practical knowledge and bridging the gap between academic study and field application. He also provided an explanation of the tasks carried out by the Customs Police at the terminals and the operational mechanisms used to control and regulate traffic.

During the visit, the students learned about the procedures in place at the terminals and the role of the Customs Police, in partnership with relevant authorities, in strengthening national security and the economy, and facilitating passenger movement within an integrated framework that serves the public interest.
