Ramallah – May 6, 2026 The Deputy Director of the Customs Police in Jenin Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Jarar, participated today, Wednesday, in welcoming the Minister of National Economy, Engineer Muhammad Al-Amour, at the Governorate headquarters. Also present were the Governor of Jenin, Mr. Kamal Abu Al-Rub, representatives of official institutions and the private sector, the Public Safety Committee, and staff from the Governorate's Directorate of National Economy.

During the meeting, the Minister of National Economy conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Mustafa and the Palestinian leadership to the residents of Jenin Governorate. He emphasized the importance of this visit to gain firsthand knowledge of the difficult conditions facing the governorate and other governorates as a result of the occupation's policies aimed at creating an unbearable environment for life in Palestine.

He noted that the Ministry is working in cooperation with its partners to regulate markets under the current circumstances. He stressed the need to strengthen the consumer protection system and consolidate the foundations of economic security by intensifying monitoring efforts and enhancing ongoing coordination with security agencies, regulatory bodies, relevant institutions, and local authorities.
