Ramallah – May 7, 2026 – During routine inspections of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with relevant departments in the Ministries of Agriculture and National Economy and the Qalqilya Municipality Health Department, seized 800 kg of fruits and vegetables unfit for human consumption in Qalqilya on Thursday. The produce showed signs of spoilage, and its consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.

Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the entire quantity using safe and hygienic methods, and the necessary legal procedures were initiated.
