Ramallah - May 17, 2026 In a joint security operation, the Customs Police and Preventive Security Service, in cooperation with the Palestinian Police, the Hebron Governorate, and the relevant department at the Ministry of Health, seized approximately 13.5 tons of food unfit for human consumption today, Sunday, in a warehouse in southern Hebron Governorate. The food had expired, and its consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized quantity using safe and sanitary methods and referred the case to the Economic Crimes Prosecution Office to complete the necessary legal procedures.
