Ramallah - May 25, 2026 - The Director of the Customs Police in Bethlehem Governorate, Colonel Abdul Karim Basayta, met with the Bethlehem District Commander, Colonel Muhammad Ubaid, today, Monday, at the Bethlehem District Command.

During the meeting, they discussed joint cooperation and addressed common issues of mutual interest to the nation and its citizens.

For his part, Colonel Ubaid commended the Customs Police's efforts in protecting the national economy, supporting local products, and ensuring food security for the Palestinian people.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Colonel Basayta presented Colonel Ubaid with a plaque of appreciation on the occasion of his appointment as commander of the Bethlehem District.
