Ramallah, May 26, 2026 – In the presence of the Governor of Bethlehem Governorate, Mr. Muhammad Taha, the Director of the Customs Police Directorate in Bethlehem Governorate, Colonel Abdul Karim Basayta, participated today, Tuesday, in an inspection tour of the city's markets ahead of Eid al-Adha, along with directors of the security establishment.

The tour aimed to emphasize to shop owners and butchers the necessity of adhering to and displaying prices for the public, and to comply with public health and safety regulations, thus ensuring the protection and safety of citizens. Participants also affirmed the continuation of monitoring and inspection tours to enhance merchants' compliance, contribute to market stability, and provide goods of suitable quality and prices for citizens.
