Ramallah – June 3, 2026 Representing the Commander of the Customs Police, Major General Iyad Barakat, the Director of Public Relations and Media, Colonel Ibrahim Ayash, and his accompanying delegation met today, Wednesday, with the Mayor of Beitunia, Dr. Rabhi Dawla, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening community partnerships and developing joint cooperation in various fields, particularly in awareness-raising, through the implementation of joint programs and activities that contribute to raising awareness among citizens and serving the local community.

Dr. Rabhi Dawla praised the Customs Police's efforts in protecting the national economy and supporting local products, which contributes to enhancing the economic and food security of our people.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation presented Dr. Dawla with a commemorative plaque in honor of his appointment as Mayor of Beitunia, wishing him success in serving the city's residents.
