Ramallah – June 23, 2026 The Director of the Customs Police in Salfit Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Tariq Wahish, and his accompanying delegation met today, Tuesday, with the Mayor of Salfit, Mr. Diaa Bani Nimra, at the municipality headquarters to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides.

During the meeting, mechanisms for cooperation and coordination between the Customs Police and the municipality were discussed, with the aim of strengthening oversight, protecting the public interest, and developing an organized work environment that serves the citizens of Salfit Governorate. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of integrating efforts among official institutions to positively impact the level of services provided to citizens. At the end of the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Wahish congratulated the Mayor of Salfit on assuming his duties, wishing him success in his role.
