Six Tons of Unfit Cheese Seized in Hebron

Ramallah – July 2, 2026 In a joint security operation, the Customs Police and Preventive Security Service, in cooperation with the Hebron Governorate and relevant departments in the Ministries of National Economy and Health, seized six tons of cheese unfit for human consumption today, Thursday, in a warehouse in Hebron. The cheese showed signs of spoilage, and its consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.

Accordingly, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the entire quantity using safe and sanitary methods and referred the case to the Economic Crimes Prosecution Office to complete the necessary legal procedures.
