Ramallah - 6/7/2026 The Director of the Customs Police in Nablus Governorate, Colonel Ahmed Bisharat, received His Excellency the Governor of Nablus Governorate, Mr. Ghassan Daghlas, and his accompanying delegation on Monday, in the presence of the Director of the National Economy, Mr. Bassam Freij.

The meeting aimed to discuss avenues for joint cooperation and address issues related to developing joint work mechanisms and intensifying oversight efforts to ensure the application of the law and the protection of markets.

During the visit, Governor Daghlas emphasized the importance of partnership and integration among various national institutions, praising the role played by the Customs Police and the Directorate of the National Economy in protecting the national economy and enhancing oversight of goods, which contributes to consumer protection and supports the resilience of the Palestinian economy.
