Ramallah – July 7, 2026 The Customs Police, in cooperation with the Palestinian Police, delivered an awareness lecture today, Tuesday, to participants of the "Pioneers of Hope" summer camp in Salfit Governorate. Sixty participants benefited from the lecture.

The lecture aimed to familiarize participants with the role of the Customs Police in protecting the national economy and combating the circulation of illegal products. It also aimed to raise awareness of the importance of this role in preserving the health and safety of citizens, as well as to instill a culture of verifying product information and checking expiration dates before use or consumption.

The lecture concluded with a visit to the Customs Police Directorate in Salfit, where participants toured the directorate's departments and learned about its operations. They also gained insight into the nature of the tasks the agency performs in protecting the national economy and enhancing market oversight.
