Ramallah, July 8, 2026 – As part of its efforts to raise awareness and strengthen community partnerships, the Public Relations and Media Department of the Customs Police organized an awareness meeting today, Wednesday, for members of the Al-Bireh Cultural Club and their parents in Al-Bireh.
The meeting aimed to familiarize participants with the role of the Customs Police and its responsibilities in combating counterfeit and illegal goods, combating the circulation of settlement goods, and smuggling in all its forms. It also aimed to educate them on how to contact the Customs Police to report counterfeit, smuggled, or illegal goods by calling the toll-free number (132) or through the official Customs Police page on Facebook.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Daoud Al-Mutawalli, President of the Al-Bireh Cultural Club, presented a plaque of appreciation to the Customs Police in recognition of its efforts in protecting the national economy, combating counterfeit and illegal goods, and promoting community awareness.
