Ramallah - July 13, 2026 Based on intelligence, field monitoring, and surveillance to combat smuggling operations, the Customs Police seized two trucks loaded with 20 tons of construction waste from Israel on Monday. The waste, intended for dumping on Palestinian-owned land in the Bethlehem Governorate, is considered hazardous to the Palestinian environment.

The relevant department at the Environmental Quality Authority was consulted and ordered the return of the seized waste to its source, in accordance with international agreements, and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
