Approximately 4.25 Tons of Expired Glucose Seized in Hebron

 

Ramallah, July 14, 2026 – Based on intelligence, the Customs Police, with support from the security forces and in cooperation with the relevant department at the Ministry of National Economy, seized approximately 4.25 tons of expired glucose used in confectionery manufacturing from a warehouse in Hebron Governorate on Tuesday. The glucose was deemed unfit for human consumption, as its consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.

Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized quantity using safe and sanitary methods, and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
