Ramallah – July 14, 2026: During routine inspections of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the relevant departments of the Ministry of National Economy and the Jenin Municipality Health Department, seized 162 kg of expired cosmetics from a shop in Jenin on Tuesday. The products were deemed unfit for use due to their expiration dates, posing potential health risks to consumers. It was also discovered that the original expiration dates had been concealed by placing new labels on the products.
Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized quantity using safe and sanitary methods and referred the case to the Public Prosecution – Economic Crimes Prosecution – to complete the necessary legal procedures.
