Ramallah – July 14, 2026 Colonel Ibrahim Ayash, Director of Public Relations and Media at the Customs Police, and his accompanying delegation met today, Tuesday, with Dr. Ghassan Barghouthi, Dean of Student Affairs at Birzeit University, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached to prepare a joint cooperation agreement between the Customs Police and Birzeit University to implement awareness and training programs that serve the interests of both parties. This includes organizing awareness activities and initiatives for university students and hosting students at the Customs Police directorates for training in specializations that align with the nature of the agency's work and the needs of the labor market.

Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between national and academic institutions to serve students and the Palestinian community, and to contribute to developing skills and raising awareness.
