Ramallah - July 20, 2026 The Director of the Customs Police in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Lieutenant Colonel Saed Jibril, met today, Monday, at the Governorate headquarters, with His Excellency the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Governor praised the national role played by the Customs Police in combating counterfeit and illegal goods, emphasizing that these efforts contribute to protecting public health and strengthening the foundations of the national economy.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Jibril conveyed to His Excellency the greetings of the Commander of the Customs Police, Major General Iyad Barakat, and expressed appreciation for the Governorate's efforts in supporting the work of the security services and developing mechanisms for joint work in service of the people of the Governorate.
