Ramallah – July 21, 2026 Based on intelligence and as part of joint security operations, the Customs Police and Preventive Security forces seized 104 fireworks from a vehicle in Hebron Governorate on Tuesday. The fireworks are banned from sale in Palestinian markets due to the danger they pose to public safety.
The relevant department at the Ministry of National Economy was notified, and it was decided to confiscate the seized quantity and complete the necessary legal procedures.
The authorities urge citizens not to buy, sell, or promote these fireworks and to report anyone selling them by calling the toll-free number (132) or through the official authority's Facebook page.
The authorities also affirm their continued monitoring and pursuit of sellers of these fireworks and will take the necessary legal measures against them.
