Ramallah - August 3, 2026 Major General Iyad Barakat, Commander of the Customs Police, received a delegation from the Express Mail Companies Union, headed by its Chairman and General Manager, and including several representatives from member postal companies, at his office in the Customs Police headquarters in Ramallah on Monday.

During the meeting, several issues related to the express mail sector were discussed, along with mechanisms to enhance cooperation and activate direct communication channels between the Customs Police and postal companies regarding enforcement and inspection matters.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed that the Customs Police would organize field visits to the headquarters of member postal companies to exchange expertise and raise the security and technical level of personnel working in this sector.
