Ramallah – August 4, 2026 The Director of the Customs Police Directorate in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Lieutenant Colonel Saed Jibril, received the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, and the Commander of the Jericho District, Colonel Mutab Atawneh, on Tuesday evening.

Dr. Hamayel praised the efforts of the Customs Police in combating smuggled goods and counterfeit or substandard products, commending the level of cooperation and coordination with the security establishment.

He emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to enhance oversight, maintain public safety, and protect the national economy.
