Ramallah, August 5, 2026 – Based on information received, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the relevant department at the Ministry of Health, seized nearly a quarter ton of food unfit for human consumption from a shop in Salfit Governorate on Wednesday. The food had expired, and its consumption could pose significant health risks to consumers.

Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the entire quantity using safe and hygienic methods, the closure of the shop for violating required health and environmental safety standards, and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
