Minister of Interior Ziad Hab Al-Reeh met today with the Gender Advisory Committee in the security establishment and several members of the Coordinating Committee for Gender Units in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.

The Minister listened to a presentation on the most prominent activities and events of the Committee and its subcommittees in the governorates. He also received a summary report on their work, including specialized training programs, implemented activities, and efforts to strengthen relations and cooperation with civil society organizations.

The Minister commended the efforts of the Committee and its subcommittees, emphasizing the importance of continuing their work, improving performance, and enhancing coordination and integration between gender units and the various components of the security establishment.

The Minister stressed that the current phase, given the exceptional circumstances and increasing challenges, requires redoubling efforts, raising the level of preparedness and responsibility, and strengthening institutional work based on professionalism, partnership, and respect for the rule of law. He also noted the important role played by gender units in this regard.
