Ramallah – August 12, 2026 Major General Iyad Barakat, Commander of the Customs Police, received Major General Anwar Rajab, Commissioner General of the National and Moral Guidance Authority and official spokesperson for the Palestinian Security Forces, at his office in Ramallah on Wednesday.

Major General Barakat welcomed Major General Rajab, emphasizing the importance of this visit in strengthening communication and cooperation between the two sides. He briefed him on the Customs Police's future development plans and the efforts being made to improve operations and enhance performance in line with the nature of the tasks and responsibilities the agency undertakes in protecting the national economy, strengthening market oversight, and combating illegal goods.

For his part, Major General Rajab thanked Major General Barakat for the warm reception, praising the role of the Customs Police in protecting the national economy and combating counterfeit and illegal goods, which contributes to protecting public health and strengthening the foundations of the national economy.
