Ramallah – September 29, 2026: Colonel Ahmed Basharat, Director of the Customs Police Directorate in Tulkarm Governorate, met today, Tuesday, with Tulkarm Governor Major General Dr. Abdullah Kamil at the governorate headquarters to discuss enhancing joint cooperation and coordination.
During the meeting, Colonel Basharat conveyed the greetings of the Customs Police Commander, Major General Iyad Barakat, to the Governor. He emphasized the agency's commitment to continuing cooperation and coordination with the Tulkarm Governorate and various relevant bodies, thereby contributing to the protection of the national economy and the strengthening of the rule of law.
For his part, Governor Major General Dr. Abdullah Kamil welcomed Colonel Basharat, wishing him success in his duties. He praised the role played by the Customs Police in protecting the national economy and enhancing market oversight, while stressing the importance of continued cooperation and coordination among all relevant parties.
