Ramallah – October 11, 2026: Acting on intelligence, the Customs Police intercepted a truck in Qalqilya Governorate this Sunday, carrying over one ton of aluminum. The goods are prohibited from circulation in the Palestinian market, as they originated from a settlement—a violation of the law banning the trade and circulation of settlement-produced goods—and because they cause harm to the national economy.
Relevant authorities from the Ministry of National Economy were summoned; they ordered the seizure of the confiscated materials and the initiation of formal legal proceedings.
