Ramallah – October 14, 2026: During routine inspections of shops and markets in Jenin this Wednesday, the Customs Police—in cooperation with the relevant authority, the Food Control Division of the Jenin Municipality Health Department—seized approximately a quarter-ton of cleaning products that were unfit for use due to expired shelf lives, as well as chicken that was unfit for human consumption, showing clear signs of spoilage and decay—conditions that could pose health risks to consumers.
Consequently, the competent authority ordered the destruction of the seized items in accordance with established health and safety protocols, and the initiation of formal legal proceedings.
