Ramallah – October 19, 2026: During inspection rounds of shops and markets today, Monday, the Customs Police—in cooperation with the relevant authority at the Ministry of National Economy—seized approximately 80 kilograms of food products in Ramallah and Al-Bireh that were unfit for human consumption due to their expiration dates having passed.
Consequently, the competent authority ordered the destruction of the items and the completion of the necessary legal procedures in accordance with the law.
