November 28, 2022 Monday: The customs police department has been dealing with 20 cases during the past hours.
The details of the cases that were seized were as follows:
_ 3 cases, in cooperation with the competent authorities in the Ministries of National Economy and Health, were as follows:
_ In Hebron, 856 kilos of expired baby candies and unfit for consumption were seized.
Also, 3658 kilos of chocolate were seized without a statement card in Arabic.
- 572 sexual stimulant pills banned from circulation were also seized. Because it harms the health of citizens, the aforementioned seizures have been kept pending the completion of legal procedures.
_ One case, in cooperation with the competent authorities in the Ministry of Agriculture, was as follows:
_ In Ramallah, 70 Shawwal of natural agricultural fertilizer, and 500 seedlings of natural roses without an agricultural transport permit, were seized, and they were kept until the completion of legal procedures.
_ One case, in cooperation with the competent authorities in the Environmental Quality Authority, was as follows:
_ In Hebron, 12,000 liters of refined car oil were seized, which is being re-refined in one of the unlicensed factories, and was seized until the completion of legal procedures.
- 15 cases in the field of tax and customs smuggling, non-compliant taxpayers were referred to the Ministry of Finance to pay their tax obligations and settle their situations.
