Ramallah_4/12/2022 Under the auspices of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas: The customs police apparatus, represented by the Department of Public Relations and Information, participated today, Sunday, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, in the ceremony of distributing national certificates of honor to support academic diplomacy advocating Palestinian rights, which was organized by the Academic Campaign International Organization Against Israeli Occupation and Apartheid, in cooperation with the relevant institutions, and in the presence of legal, national, academic and organizational figures and representatives of the security services in the theater of the Ramallah municipality building
In his televised speech, His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas emphasized the importance of the role of academics and intellectuals in supporting the Palestinian right, and protecting the true Palestinian narrative, against the false Zionist narrative. He also stressed that the efforts of the academic campaign are a practical confirmation of the importance of soft power in protecting the national project and our right to peaceful resistance to the occupation. .
