The customs police meet imams and preachers of mosques in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate

Ramallah_12/7/2022 The customs control apparatus in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate, represented by Lieutenant Colonel / Abdul Karim Basaita, in cooperation with the Political and National Direction and the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Endowment Directorate, held a working meeting, today, Wednesday, in the hall of Jamal Abdel Nasser Mosque, in the presence of the director of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Endowment Directorate Brother / Ahmed Abu Safia, and the Political Commissioner for Political Orientation, Mr. Nasser Ayyad, to clarify the nature of the work of the customs police and its partners in the field. The meeting was attended by (120) imams and preachers.
At the beginning of the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Basita conveyed the greetings of Major General Iyad Barakat, Commander of the Customs Police, to all the attendees. He also welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of the meeting because the imams and preachers of mosques have an impact on awareness and dissemination of the religious message in the Palestinian street.
Lieutenant Colonel Basita reviewed the mechanism of work of the customs police apparatus and the achievements made by the apparatus in combating tax evasion, customs smuggling, and combating corrupt and counterfeit goods and settlement goods.
At the end of the meeting, they praised the role of the agency and affirmed their support for the work of the customs police in the interest of our country and our people. They also affirmed their willingness to provide the necessary awareness and to be complementary in conveying the message of the agency.
